Highlights From Crown Premiums History

1981 - Crown Premiums is formed by Brian J. O’Hara.

1995 - First company in the industry to manufacture pedal car die cast models and banks.

1996 - First company in the industry to manufacture die cast gas pump replicas and banks.

1997 - Crown Premiums begins to manufacture custom die cast collectibles for its customers, replicating the customers’ products. For example, Snap-on die cast tool boxes are a huge success for Snap-on’s marketing and promotional needs.

2000 - Crown Premiums introduces the Crown Jewels die cast model line. The Crown Jewels are comparable to the mint die cast models sold via retail and mail order, but are priced at a mere fraction of the cost. 1:43 scale Mack tractor trailers are also introduced.

2002 - Crown Premiums expands its focus and offers a much wider line of mint quality customized promotional items for its customers (for example, clocks and watches, pedal cars, coolers, poker sets, and dioramas). 1:12 scale Tokheim gas pumps and Garton and Gendron pedal cars are added to the Crown Premiums line.

2003 - Manufactured first diorama for Snap-on Tools - the 1:24 scale service station.

2005 - Full size antique display gas pumps are introduced.

2006 - 1:3 scale tool box manufactured at incredible detail. Manufactured 1950s retro cooler that creates great advertising and promotions for customers.

2007 - Crown Premiums introduces several 1:24 scale die cast models: 1957 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop, 1957 Chevy Bel Air Convertible, and 1957 Chevy Bel Air Nomad, the most detailed Crown Jewels to date.

2008 - 2008 proves to be an exciting year…a year Crown Premiums expands its line. The 1:24 scale die cast 1965 Corvette Stingray Convertible and 1963 Corvette Stingray Hardtop are introduced as Crown Jewels. The 1:2 scale gas pumps are added to the 1:12 scale and full size gas pumps. New checker sets prove to be a valuable promotional tool for customers.

2009 - 1:24 scale 1972 Plymouth Superbird and 1970 Plymouth Duster die cast models are added as Crown Jewels. The 1:1 scale Modis iPod Docking Station and 1:12 scale Glo-mad model replica are manufactured for Snap-on tools.

2010 - We are excited to be introducing our first 1:18 scale die cast model replica, the 1920’s Model-T Ford. The Crown Premiums company is purchased by Bill and Vickie Maxwell who are continuing the customer-first focus and taking the company forward for the next generation of customers.
